History of the Conglomerate

Below is the official history of the United Armed Forces Conglomerate, all events cross-checked and referenced for accuracy. Exact dates are present if possible. Scroll down to learn about why the UAFC values tradition, and the lessons we learned to get us where we are today.

Origins

Before the Conglomerate, two organizations existed under the names of Fleet Command Naval Force (known colloquially as FLEETCOM) and the San Andreas Defense Force. Each Organization charted their own paths, eventually converging as both respected each other and their respective missions. Follow their paths below.

Fleet command naval force

FLEETCOM was originally founded in 2015 on Xbox 360 by FCNF Sovereign. The organization did not last long due to the lack of players on the old generation console and the logistical inability to transfer to the "next generation" of consoles.

San Andreas Defense Force

The San Andreas Defense force was founded in 2016 by SADF Zero. The Organization found great success due to the addition of Gunrunning, and a focus on mechanized infantry. SADF created

FLEETCOM would later be founded again in as old friends of Sovereign and members from the 289th Fighter Squadron "Helix" wanted to come together and create a competitive yet realistic military simulation that provided its members with unique experience and environment. FLEETCOM had a rough beginning.

In August of 2017, FLEETCOM endured a rough patch as many crews do. The Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Paladin had resigned and his Deputy, Vice Admiral Hawk soon followed, the Navy was left in terrible shape and the Marine Corps had a severe lack of recruits.
Following the failure of Strike Command, a rebirth of FLEETCOM occurred. Older and senior members who were known as the "OGs" joined back into the ranks to return the crew to its former glory. Notable members were FCNF Stone, FCNF Paladin, FCNF Bahamut, FCNF Visual, FCNF Horizon, FCNF Trident, FCNF Hawk, FCNF Massacre, FCNF Galaxy, FCNF Krennic and FCNF Cheftain. New members also joined who would play a large impact in the future of the crew were FCNF Blitzkrieg and FCNF Grim.

From October until December, FLEETCOM saw a massive growth under the leadership of the "OGs". The Naval Air Force grew to unprecedented levels and dominated the skies of the community with its three fighter squadrons and two rotary wing squadrons. The Marine Corps North American Command also grew to include multiple infantry and armor units. During this period, FLEETCOM did not experience combat deployments and was primarily used for diplomatic and intervention missions. They however deploy against STARx Military a multitude of times, a hostile organization led by an individual who had no regard for the community's established laws and norms. FLEETCOM was victorious against the organization and was able to record its final battle which you can find here. The battle was led by an aviator in training, FCNF Blitzkrieg who was able to rally forces together and took command until his commander arrived to take charge. During this time as well, FLEETCOM wrapped up its counter insurgency mission against the auto-aim tryhards who attempted to invade and siege the free aim community over the summer and fall of 2017. This long and costly mission ended in success as the enemy organizations had either been pushed off of the game or had agreed to peace with FLEETCOM.

In late December 2017 during cold weather operations, FLEETCOM saw its first major deployment against AFO, NOOS, UNAF, DAPM and MRCX as apart of Task Force Wolfpack with GOW, SCAR and ALTA. FLEETCOM was late in terms of joining the alliance, but when it joined it was able to dominate the skies and provide our allies with the necessary support they needed. The Wolfpack was soon victorious in its mission of restoring the free aim community to its previous status and removing the threats from the community. The alliance soon fell apart due to a brewing conflict between SCAR and ALTA as well as declining relations between GOW and FLEETCOM.

In late February of 2018, FLEETCOM declared war on GOW and began the first of many combat operations donning the Ghostbuster name.

Due to the issues of lack of recruits and motivation from the staff, Sovereign and those remaining in the command deck agreed to take a hiatus from operations in San Andreas. During this hiatus, the senior leadership noticed a crew that they had worked with over the summer had a similar falling. The crew was known as the San Andreas Defense Force and was lacking trained leadership and aviation forces. The alliance between SADF and FCNF was a close one as over the summer both organizations had worked jointly to accomplish similar military and political goals in the community such as fighting together against the tryhard insurgency that had began in June and attempting to reform the communities through the San Andreas Treaty Organization. The senior leadership contacted the command staff of the San Andreas Defense Force and both sides agreed to a merge where the new crew would be an army based crew with both soldiers from SADF and marines and sailors from FCNF. This crew would be known as the Strike Command Defense Force.
