![]() As is tradition in the UAFC, and perhaps ironic given the last update: we are now in a state of war. We call this the fighting season, and while it normally starts in the spring, we recognize the fact that it obeys one set of logic. Crews want to fight so they knock on our door. Late last night, as UAFC forces were conducting recruitment operations - Elite Special Operations Command (ESOC) breached the session and began engaging UAFC forces. The allied forces present used lethal force as necessary to defend themselves under ROE. Reports from the battle conclude that the enemy while fighting within reason, abiding mostly by Los Santos Conventions, also had assistance provided by other third party organizations including KRMA, illegal combatants as defined by the Los Santos Conventions. After a friendly fire incident involving the UAFC and GOW (a designated independent/neutral force), UAFC forces broke contact and reported the situation to UAFC Strategic Command. The UAFC has always prepared itself for this eventuality, it might even be the reason we exist. For the record, we never fired first. We never fire first and that’s the policy that has given the UAFC the credibility and respect it has among community members. After reviewing the situation, Strategic Command found that a state of war exists between ESOC and the UAFC. Under orders of General Archangel, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the UAFC will begin combat operations leveraging the full force of the Conglomerate in retaliation, until a time when it is agreed that a state of war no longer exists between the UAFC and ESOC. As the UAFC has done countless times before, ESOC will be given the chance to cease hostile relations or become yet another memory. While the name of ESOC has existed for many years now, the crew and it’s identity have been reset multiple times due to conflicts ESOC started but could not finish. The reason for the provocation is not understood, and diplomatic relations do not formally exist between the organizations due to ESOC’s refusal to join and sign under SATO. We will provide more information as the war develops.
