As the year draws to a close, the UAFC looks back at the last year of accomplishments, improvements, and changes as the organization looks forward into 2021.

2020 was definitely an action packed year, with the UAFC seeing conflict against multiple different organizations early on during the Spring and Summer months. Since that time the UAFC has brought those conflicts to a peaceful resolution.

In April, an insurgence of Alien threats surfaced and invaded the streets and skies of GTA Online. The UAFC responded accordingly.

In late May, one of the most influential members of the UAFC and greater community passed away in a tragic accident. The UAFC hosted a funeral virtually in his memory, and continues to remember the impact he made on so many individuals and the organization as a whole.

The UAFC also remembers all those who have lost their lives to COVID-19 and the many who have been negatively affected by the pandemic.

The UAFC joined the United Military Association's Sector Turf War, and captured a few sectors. While the UAFC has not been challenged for the Sectors claimed, we openly welcome the idea.

STRICOM commissioned and decommissioned the UAFC's first division level unit, learning some valuable lessons and paving the way for the organization in the future.

FLEETCOM Marines ditched it's traditional Naval ranking system to be more in-line with their real life counterparts, adopting Marine ranks. Also getting rid of their traditional flight boots in the process. #TANWALKINGBOOTS

The 2 year and 5 month long hostilities with GOW came to a close as a change in leadership within their organization reached out to extend the olive branch.

This year had the most general officers appointed in UAFC history. Starting in January we had the promotions of Rear Admiral BustaCap and General Warden. Following their advancements, we saw the appointment of the Marine Corps' first Assistant Commandant Rear Admiral Ronin in May who later retired due to the stress of the job and was replaced by Brigadier General Tundra in October 2020. We end the year with the appointment of General Krabbe.

The Navy got a huge boost in funding, as they recently acquired submarines; commissioning the UNS Black Wolf - a ballistic missile capable submarine. Also in the works is a contract to acquire armed dinghies for the purpose of littoral warfare to support Naval operations in the future.

All branches received minor uniform updates to conform with improvements in clothing and materials. Noteworthy is the addition of no nod advanced combat helmets.

And... that's it. We are excited to let you know how our year goes as we provide more common updates on this page. Let us know what you want to learn about and we will be more than happy to share insight into our organization.
